Goodbye:(

Yesterday was the heart wrenching day that we had to sAy goodbye to our chickens,  They have a new home in Lisle,  but we miss them already! Please show your support for the chickens, we NEED more positive support and signatures, if you would like to help us collect signature, as long as you are 18 or older and live in LaGrange, You CAN!! please contact us via email : chickens4lagrange@gmail.com if you would be interested in helping us collect signatures, we need at least 300 more to make it onto the ballot.

We miss our house, the coop, the kids, the doggie, the "LaGrange" feel, our new home is nice and we have some new chicken friends, but we miss our family, its almost like we are at "chicken boarding school"  We thought we were pets, but the village forced us to leave our family, papa hen (Jeff Cogelja) always kept our coop clean and smelling fresh, we tried to be as quite as we could, except for the exception of one of us (Myrtle) after she laid her egg for the day, she had to tell us all about it.  We miss our comfortable roost at our own home, please help us come back home!!

Support Needed

Common guys! We need all the support we can get! All it takes is a few people to make a change, and making chickens legal is a great place to start.  Maybe we can even inspire others to take a stand and make a change for something they believe in:)

Why?

We want to raise chickens for their eggs.  No hormones, fertilizer, or harmful chemicals. We want to make them legal so that we are able to enjoy rasing them rather then having to worry about getting the cops called on us. We are trying very hard to make them legal, but we need more support.   If there is anyone that has made chickens legal or want to make chickens legal, your help would be greatly appreciated.

We are interested in getting chickens.  As of right now, owning chickens is illegal, and we are trying to get the village to make owning chickens legal.  The more support we have behind us, the greater the possiblity we have to change their minds.  We would like to hear what other who own chickens or don't own chickens, have to say on the matter please comment. The more people we get to say that chickens should be allowed, the better chance we have of making it happen.  Thanks
